Choosing a model
When to use Seedream vs Seedance vs Kling.
Quick heuristic:
- Seedream for photoreal stills, product shots, portraits, Chinese-cultural aesthetics. Fastest (10-20s).
- Seedance for 5-10s cinematic video clips with strong motion continuity. Our default for
/create/video. - Kling 2.0 when you specifically need better human motion or Western-style cinema aesthetics.
- Sora 2 when you need 15-20 second clips with native audio.
- Flux Pro for Western editorial + typography- heavy images (logos, posters, UI mockups).
Leave model at auto if you don't have a strong opinion β the router picks the cheapest model whose capability covers your input.
